ANOOP DAWG!!
Mr. Anoop Desai had been rejected by America. This is very insignificant because he is an awesome singer. He is soo good. It is amazing. So far Alexis Grace, Danny Gokey, and Michael Sarver have made it through to the top 12 and of them deserve to be there based on there performances. The only problem is that Anoop did not make it! He deserves it just as much as those three to get in so those wild cards definately need to go to Anoop Desai otherwise thousands of disapointed Americans will sob all night just like Tatiana Del Toro! Speaking of Tatiana, thank goodness that miss total drama queen did NOT make it through. I mean she is a pretty good singer and all but there is no time for people with that big of an aditude! The worst thing for this kind of competion is that if out of all the wonderful, deserving people who are on american idol, Tatiana Del Drama gets a wild card, because there are a lot more deserving young people in this competition than just her. The way they decided the top 12 is a bit confusing this year. I think that they made a random top 36 and then out of each group of 12 they pick the top 3. But that means that only 9 make it through, thats where you're wrong. After all is said and done, the judges get to pick 3 people who didnt make it, and they get to be in the top 12. Thats called the 3 wild cards. Ill update next week! Bye-bye!
FORM!NG THE TOP 12! GROUP 1 RECAP.
Our first group of performers were...

~ Alexis Grace: Probably the best performance given by the girls side of the 12. Singing "Never Loved A Man" the judges compared her to Kelly Clarkson and Kara commented with, "the genie is out of the bottle!" She certainly did "dirty" herself up with TOTALLY different clothes and a streak of pink in her hair.
~ Anoop Desai (Anoop Dawg): He sang "Angel of Mine." Randy and Kara
said it was a little sharp and pitchy.
~ Michael Sarver: He sang "I Don't Want To Be." I don't like him so I'm not going to write anymore on him other than the fact that he sounds like a bad bar singer.
~ Ann Marie Boskovich: Her performance of "Natural Woman" wasn't all that bad, it was

just weak and ya know your voice has to be very powerful to pull that
one off or as Randy said, "slay it." Simon said she would be a good hotel singer and Kara said she should sing something like "Love Song" and Ann
Marie snapped back with a, "something that's not as good?"
~ Jackie Tohn: First off, her outfit was...distracting, as you can see... She sang "A Little Less Conversation" and her vocals weren't great. She said that she wanted to show she could entertain. Not sure that worked out too well. Simon said she was, "gimmicky and ungainly."
~ Steven Fowler: Singing "Rock with You," his backup singer were very suckish and the
arrangement was just plain BAD. Randy said he was pitchy, Kara said he didn't seem connected

and Simon called it a "pointless performance."
~ Stevie Wright: Song choice was wrong, notes were
wrong, EVERYTHING was wrong.
In an HORRIBLE attempt to be "young" she sang "You Belong With Me" by Taylor Swift! :( The judges said she was way better than the song so hopefully she'll be back through wild card?
~ Tatianna Del Toro: She sang "I'm Saving All My Love For You." Surprisingly, she hit most of the notes! The judges and Ryan seemed surprised to see an uncrazy Tatianna although I was relieved to see an undramatic Tatianna.
~ Ricky Braddy: He sang "A Song For You." His vocals were fine but Simon says he lacks "star quality."
~ Danny Gokey: It was cool to hear Danny sing "Hero" because of his gruff voice and because he stayed on pitch! Randy called it "blazing hot" and Paula refered to "sold-out arenas." But OF COURSE Simon got everybody back to Earth and said it was "good."
~ Anne Marie Boskovich
~ Brent Keith: He sang a country song, "Hicktown," but he didn't really do anything

to make the song his own so it was pretty forgettable. Randy said he was a, "new spin on classic country," but Kara wanted more range and Simon doubted anyone would remember him.
~ Casey Carlson: She sang "Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic" but every little thing about her performance DEFINITELY was not magic. Her vocals were all over the place and the dancing was...uncomfortable. Randy called it "karaoke" and Paula went for the "your a beautiful girl" line which cleary made Casey wanna die.
